The Orange County Arts Council is committed to increasing the awareness of our
communities and our elected officials to the importance of year-round lifelong
opportunities for arts and cultural experiences.
Arts for Vets Program
The Arts Council offers a wide range of ongoing arts-related activities for
military families in Orange County. "Arts for Vets" reaches beyond the
stereotype of what art is, and reaches the artist in everyone.
We're looking for veterans and their families to get involved in project
activities. Orange County artists present workshops and demonstrations on a
wide range of topics, from stone, metal and woodworking to the more traditional
studio arts of painting, pottery, photography and carving. There is no charge
for workshops for veterans and their families.
Arts in Education
A list is being developed of individuals including teaching artists, artists
