The Center for Metal Arts offers a one-day introduction to fold forming for an enjoyable day in the studio.
The class will run from 10 AM to 2:30 PM at the Center for Metal Arts, 44 Jayne St. Florida NY 10921. Cost is $80 plus a $15 material fee. Registration with $45 deposit will hold a seat. One of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of her generation, Dar Williams has been engaging audiences with her musical artistry since the early 1990s when she rose from the Northeast coffeehouse circuit to the national spotlight. Throughout her career, Williams has toured with artists such as Joan Baez, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ani DiFranco, and Shawn Colvin.
Concert goers can enjoy a museum visit, dinner at the Museum Cafe and a show. The box office will sell museum tickets up to one hour prior to concert time. The museum will close 15 minutes prior to concert start time. Please note that most guests prefer to spend approximately 1.5 hours in the museum. If we have special exhibits in the lower level, please plan accordingly so you can enjoy full museum offerings. |

The Mountain Music Harvest Festival is a celebration of the music that originated in small towns and mountain villages across America, and became what we know today as bluegrass, old time and country music.
Guitars, banjos, mandolins and sweet harmonies are all part of this rich and ever changing tradition of American music. Musicians Jam Session at 3:00.
The Event Tent will once again be filled with the beauty of quilts from the Catskills and beyond presented by Calico Geese Quilters and Friends.

He has enjoyed a fifty-year career as a country crooner, and over a half century ago, he became Woody Guthrie's sidekick and leading interpreter, and later a hero to Bob Dylan and the early '60s folk scene. |
