| Biography:
Open in 1993, the Lycian Centre is a professional, state-of-the-art theatre venue with four unique performance spaces. The largest and grandest is the 700-seat mainstage theatre which has hosted many, many wonderful shows and performers such as Chita Rivera, Don McLean, Stiller and Meara, Jack Klugman and Don Knotts, to name just a few. The smaller, intimate 250-seat Pavilion theatre is used for children's theatre, jazz performances, films and play readings. The outdoor stage on the front lawn is home to the Lycian's free summer concert series which has become a standard family event in the community. The Lycian's newest performance venue is the "On The Wharf" 95-seat outdoor stage on the banks of beautiful Creamery Pond where wonderful summer theatre becomes a truly unique experience.
