Blues on Broadway- Murali Coryell @ Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz
Jun 22 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Murali Coryell has a story that is unique and has been growing since before he was born. Held by Hendrix, lived with Santana, dinners with Miles Davis, opened for B.B. Jimmy Webb , Judy Collins, BIll Evans and Joe Louis Walker, or anyone familiar with Murali Coryell has praised his talents.

Blues on Broadway- Bruce Katz @ Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz
Jul 20 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Bruce Katz is a four time Nominee for the Blues Music Award (W.C. Handy Award) for “Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year”, selected by the Blues Foundation of Memphis, TN. While Blues is a very important part of his music, Bruce’s music has more angles and influences, occupying a unique space where blues, “soul-jazz”, jam-band rock, and all aspects of Americana Music collide into a style of original music all his own.

Blues on Broadway- Jeremy Baum @ Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz
Aug 17 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Jeremy Baum began playing the piano at age five and was playing classical piano recitals by his teens. He grew up listening to his parent’s record collection, enjoying the music of the Beatles and Sly and the Family Stone, as well as the various Jazz Organ and R&B sounds of Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff and Ray Charles! Jeremy’s trio is rooted in the blues and funky soul-jazz sounds of the late 1960s (think Booker T. and the MG’s, The Meters, Jimmy Smith!) His style is also informed by the current masters of the groove from the jam-band scene (Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Soul-Live, Derek Trucks Band.)
