Race 4 Space

Deadline Date: August 6th, 2018

The City of Middletown has been awarded the Downtown Revitalization Initiative through the State of New York. One of the priority projects within the DRI is the repurposing of the old Woolworth Building. As a result, the City of Middletown in conjunction with the Middletown Business Improvement District (BID) is initiating the Race 4 Space Program intended to directly stimulate economic and business development. The Race 4 Space program is a competition encouraging individuals and business owners to fill the new storefronts at the rehabilitated Woolworth Building. Funding will be awarded through a competitive process. To receive funds, an applicant must submit a complete application package to the City for consideration by the deadline.
